Ah a question which i have been asking myself since i was a kid "which is the better sex ?". A masochistic male would immediately answer with supreme confidence that it is "we men" who are far more superior and we don't need to justify ourselves. A feminist on the other hand would say that it is "women"{notice the similarity in the pronunciation} indeed but they haven't been given enough opportunities to prove this and would blame men for creating governments, religious institutions and education systems to dominate women. Recently this question has become more of a moral and political issue and now it is believed that both men and women are equal in terms of skills, aptitudes and potentials and is said that we are who we are because of our parents, teachers and the environment we grew up in and this was sadly what i was told in the school. According to me this is pure bullshit. If men and women were that equal how did men achieve such dominance over the world ? Why are women so bad at navigation and men so bad at taking care of a child? In the beginning our of civilization we did not have any such systems but still we ended up being this different. If what my teachers taught me was true does that mean that if boys and girls grew up in another world with nothing to guide them they would end up with the same physical skills or nurturing skills - seems pretty unlikely to me.
If u guys have ever seen a group of women having a conversation the first thing u would notice is that these women are like talking and listening simultaneously. When i first saw this i was like whoa are they even listening to what the others are saying. Learnt it the hard way that they actually were. To my surprise after a little googling i found out that women can actually listen and speak simultaneously basically because of their brains being wired differently. It also taught me that trying to understand a woman's world is like a blind man trying to understand colour. So i guess we were meant to be different. Scientifically speaking evolution made us so different. Many years ago when we were still hunters,men hunted and protected whereas women gathered and nurtured. With time their bodies and brains evolved in different ways. Men grew taller and stronger than most women and their brains developed to suit their tasks. Women evolved to cope with their function in life. This change was continuous and after such a long interval of time we have become so different that we have totally different perceptions, priorities and behaviors. Men want to rule the world where as women want jewellery{again makes no sense whatsoever}.
Where am i going with this ? Well its just that men and women are very different and there is no such thing as equality or superiority because we are good in our own fields. If a war is fought by women then we are bound to lose it and if a man is left to take care of child he is bound to nurture him/her in a wrong way. This is a fact and is something which needs to be accepted so as to live a better life. So the next time any of my friends complain about gender inequality keep in mind that this is something which has happened over thousands of years and is not something which can be changed by just complaining.
Note : This being my first post i expect heavy criticism. All sorts of criticism are welcome and also notify me of the grammatical errors, if any.

should be written as,
"In the beginning of our civilization, we did not have any system as such yet we've ended up being this different"
Otherwise it was a pretty good write up for a first post.
And stop using flower brackets that's so feminine :D
Thanks
and that "our of" was something i missed out...i like the flower bracket dude...whats masculine and feminine is decided by the society and well im not obliged to go by it
well, no feminism here, but i've seen many women break free of the tagged occupations. I've heard of successful entrepreneurs, event managers, politicians, weight-lifters, shooters... and what not! It might not be the inherent difference after all then, but the thing i call determination and zeal that makes the sexes similar or dissimilar! :)
speaking of your blog: very well written, i must say! congratulations!
@chetu: Thank you
and as for ur comment...in that sense i would say that its easier for a guy to be a weight lifter than a woman....basic difference being the high amounts of testosterone which helps in muscle building....the difference in the sexes is that one has to put in more effort than the other....and again im not talking about the moral aspect of this im talking scientifically
abhisekharan i find it hard to believe that you are supporting men.. :P.. lol.. if we consider human society a mollusc then the shell would be men and soft body inside would women. without shell there is no protection for body and without body there is no reason for shell to exist. my statement is " TODAY WOMEN ARE FIGHTING AGAINST NATURE NOT MEN. IF YOU WOMEN WIN THEN IT IS EVOLUTION NOT REVOLUTION"
@anuraag : well firstly...im not supporting anyone...im just saying we are different...but truthfully speaking if i had to support someone i would support women....im a feminist in certain ways
As for ur mollusc comparision i dint get it...so plz explain it in detail
This is great advice! Very honest and practical. Love it. Especially the part about the “need to love your job”. Can’t remember that I read anywhere else that it is ok if you have days when you just think work sucks and there is no purpose or meaning. Also: love the color article!
